Giving:

Individuals, businesses, congregations or others are able to make financial contributions to our ministry.  Donations are usually tax deductible, but donors interested in claiming a tax deduction should confirm it with a tax consultant.

Financial:

Financial Donations can be made in the folowing ways:
  • Check:  Make a check to MDC Goldenrod, 1518 College Ave., Goshen,  IN  46526.  Contributions do not require any specific designation, but if the donor wishes the donation be applied to a specific purpose that should be made clear with the contribution.
  • Online:  Using the MC USA website donors may make a contribution oline to MDC Goldenrod using a debit or credit card.  Click on the Mennonite Church USA button at the top right and it will take you directly to the donation page.

In Kind Donations:

Various new or quality used items can be donated to MDC Goldenrod.  Some items can be used in the homes where individuals with developmental disabilities are served.  Please call (574)533-9720 to make arrangements and for answers to questions.  Items that are not needed in the homes can be given for sale at our auction held each September.  Items that could be donated include: 

  • Lawn mowers
  • Lawn care equipment
  • Motor vehicles
  • Household supplies
  • Furniture, appliances (washer, dryer, refrigerator, freezer, microwave oven, etc.

Volunteer:

Giving some of your time or using some of your talents to help the ministry at MDC Goldenrod is a wonderful way to make a difference in the lives of people.  It not only helps with the expenses of our ministry, it helps our clients and their families, it helps to build bridges between our clients and the broader community, and it will be a blessing to you.  Training is provided to volunteers who work extensively with one or more of our clients.  If interested, call (574)533-9720.  While not limited to the folowing, volunteer opportunities include:
