MDC Goldenrod is a faith-based ministry to people with developmental disabilities.  The original name was Mennonite Disabilities Committee or MDC for short.  The name was changed to MDC Goldenrod because we serve individuals regardless of whether they have an Anabaptist/Mennonite background or not.

The heart of MDC Goldenrod’s ministry is to improve the quality of life to the individuals we serve.  This occurs through various activities for the individual or as part of a group.  Caregiving staff provide support and supervision as needed.  Some individuals live year round in one of our homes, while others receive support through respite care or day services.  We have a green house that offers work/activity in growing and selling plants.  In addition we work closely with area congregations to encourage spiritual growth and integrate our clients as fully as possible into community life.

MDC Goldenrod serves individuals who live in Elkhart County, St. Joe County, LaGrange County and Kosciusko County.
