Mission Statement
MDC Goldenrod believes that because all persons are created in God’s image, every human life has equal value. Acting on this, MDC Goldenrod, as a ministry of Anabaptist and other participating congregations, recognizes the gifts of individuals with disabilities. MDC Goldenrod seeks to do this in ways that promote development of individuals, strengthen the family, and encourage continued congregational involvement.
MDC Goldenrod Offices Will Be Moving
The MDC Goldenrod offices will be closed Thursday, May 1 and reopen on Monday, May 5 as we will be moving the offices to 1514 College Ave during that time. Our email addresses as well as main phone and fax number will remain the same. Because of this move we will not have phone or email during part of that time. You may, however, email us and we will respond as soon as possible. We are sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause for you. Thank you for your patience. A Little Boy's Gift
One evening in January a first and second grade class from a local church brought donations that their church had collected. When they were done unloading the boxes and bags they all crowded into the food pantry as Dan Steiner, Development Director, explained why people lived here and how the food pantry helped meet their expenses. He was telling them that it costs a lot for people to live here and this food pantry helps a lot. Suddenly a young boy standing close to him solemnly looked at him and without a word held out a nickel. As he thanked the boy he realized that he had gotten the message in a special way. This nickel is one of the more important donations we have received and this boy already knows what it means to share with others what he has been given. MDC Goldenrod is richer because of a little boy's thoughtful response to a need he understood.

10 Annual MDC Goldenrod Auction Date Change
The 10th Annual MDC Goldenrod auction will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2008 with an open house on Friday, August 22. Please mark your calendars and plan to attend. Also, note that the date is wrong in the fall edition of The MIrror.
